Overview
Arbat Books sells Russian-language books, board games, creative kits and stationery to readers across Cyprus. The shop runs on Shopify and speaks to its customers in their own language, in euros, with the shelf-by-shelf feel of a good neighbourhood bookshop.
The catalogue is the product
A bookshop lives or dies by how quickly someone finds the next book. The range here runs from Russian classics and contemporary prose to detective stories, psychology, history and cooking, then on to children’s books, school textbooks, board games, diamond mosaics, paint-by-numbers, stationery and postcards.
The storefront turns that range into something you can walk through: a search bar that leads the header, a menu grouped the way people think about a shelf (Books, Kids, Textbooks, Games, Creative, Souvenirs, Stationery, Postcards), and a separate collection for every genre and age group. Big collections stay usable: the board games shelf alone holds 260 titles, with filters by price and author, sorting, and a choice of grid or list view.

A shop that changes with the season
The home page is built to be re-dressed without touching the structure. A rotating announcement bar and a full-width banner carry the current campaign, whether that is Halloween games or a manga and manhwa sale, while the header, search, cart and menu stay exactly where regulars expect them.

Small details that keep people shopping
New arrivals get a badge in the menu. The cart total is always visible in euros. Recently viewed products are one click away, so a reader can wander through ten collections and still return to the book they liked first. Titles that have run out are marked as sold out instead of disappearing.
Built for the phone in your hand
On mobile the store becomes an app-like shell: a compact header with search, round category shortcuts (detectives, fiction, children’s classics) and a bottom bar with Home, Shop and Cart within thumb reach.
